Prayer Intentions for the Quarter

The following are the prayer intentions for the new quarter.  Please share them with your courts.  The intentions can be remembered in many ways such as in the opening or closing prayers of your meetings, at corporate communions, by your prayer ministry, and hopefully by each individual member in her daily prayers.

"Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst"

Mathew 18:20

To God the Father we offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Counting on his unfailing mercy, we turn to him now with our needs:

  • † That Pope Francis, all bishops, priests and deacons may continue to inspire the people by their example of Christian living and service to the Gospel.
  • † That God will lead all leaders of nations and governments so that they achieve peace and justice for their people.
  • † That all who lack food, shelter, employment, and those that are lonely, sick or injured will receive God’s assistance at our hands.
  • † That during this season of Lent we will all seek renewal in mind and spirit.
  • † That those who have died and are awaiting the day of perfection may share in the triumph of Christ.
