Prayer Intentions for the Quarter

The following are the prayer intentions for the new quarter.  Please share them with your courts.  The intentions can be remembered in many ways such as in the opening or closing prayers of your meetings, at corporate communions, by your prayer ministry, and hopefully by each individual member in her daily prayers.

"Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst"

Mathew 18:20

As we gather in the name of our Lord & Savior, let us bring our petitions to Him:

  • † For believers everywhere who wait for the Lord’s coming that this Advent may help them prepare.
  • † For all the people who look forward to the celebration of Christmas, that Christ’s words and values may find a place in their hearts.
  • † For the nations where there is war, poverty and human suffering, that their troubles may soon be a distant memory for them.
  • † For those who suffer from anxiety, for all who are sick in mind or body that they may know the Lord’s healing power.
  • † For all those who have died, that God’s light may shine on them.
