State Officer Goals and Activities for the 2007-2008 Term
Your State Officers can help your Court grow to its full potential. Here are just some of the ways they help Courts grow.

Goals
- To encourage and provide opportunities for spiritual growth for all Catholic Daughters through prayer services and retreats.
- To extend a hand to our CDA sisters in their time of sickness, sorrow, or need.
- To encourage courts to be more family oriented in their court activities.
- To complete the Habitat Build in Wichita Falls with the support of all Catholic Daughters.
- To select particular project/projects to work with our brother Knights of Columbus.
- To continue to increase membership and seek areas for new courts.
- To continue to develop strong leaders from court members.

Activities
- Utilize our State Spiritual/Retreat Chairman to organize multi-district retreats and/or spiritual talks
- Encourage districts to come together to pray and interact in local activities
- Emphasize that we are women of God and must not only show this in our work, but also show this in our actions and words
- Encourage courts to promote activities that involve the family in Spiritual and recreational activities
- Complete the Habitat Home Build in Wichita Falls
- Encourage courts to work with our brother Knights in parish and community activities and other selective areas
- Spread the word to all Catholic women that CDA is a spiritual/service organization to and for all
- Continue court incentives for increasing membership
- Continue the St. Bernadine of Siena Award for Court Development
- Provide support and training through the “Out Reach” Program for courts struggling to exist and structure for newly instituted courts
- Continue leadership and training workshops to develop future CDA leaders
- Continue to work for the enhancement of bringing CDA into the 21st century
