      State Regent Eve Trevino

Formed in 1903, under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) are united by their faith in Jesus Christ and their devotion to the Catholic Church. We are one of the oldest and largest Orders of Catholic women in the Americas.

The Texas State Court was organized January 25, 1917. Our Mission Statement is a reflection of the CDA motto of Unity and Charity; "The members of the Texas State and Local Courts love Christ and His Church. We are dedicated to leading others to Christ and to His service through active participation in the Catholic Daughters of the Americas."

The Statue of Our Patroness, Mary, the Blessed Mother of God, is on display at the National CDA office in New York. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of Texas.

“Everything is possible to the one who has Faith.” Mark 9:23

Quarterly Prayer Intentions

The following are the prayer intentions for the current quarter. Please share them with your court members. “Where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I in their midst.” Matthew 18:20

Through the intercession of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, all the Angels and Saints, Lord, humbly hear our prayers.

  • For the needs of Pope Frances, the Holy Church, the aged, marginalized and all those suffering with illness, sorrow or unemployment; that they may seek Gods mercy and blessed by His love and amazing grace.
  • For ALL public authorities, candidates seeking office, and all elected leaders; that they work together for the good of the people and may their decisions respect the dignity of human life.
  • For CDA members who answered “YES” as an officer or chairman; may they rely on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
  • That the Seminarians and those entering Religious life may have mentors who live the joy of the Gospel and prepare them wisely for their mission.
  • That the graduating class of 2016 may focus on the Lords Will throughout the next chapter of their lives.
