The Texas State board has appointed Mary Jane to fill the office of State Treasurer for the remainder of the current term. We are grateful to outgoing Treasurer, Dela Garza for her service to Texas CDA. Please pray for Dela as she deals with health issues.

Have leadership training with speakers on various topics.

Don’t let past actions, or perceived inexperience, prevent anyone from volunteering in the Court.

Have a table at parents’ night at Catholic schools and/or Religious Education classes.

See all the National contest winners from Texas, awarded at the 2022 National Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Support or sponsor a JCDA Court.

Pray for Charity.

Attend funeral and memorial services for family members of Court members.

Be timely about sending dues reminders and encouraging members to pay dues early.

Create a membership plan and implement it.

If there is a high percentage of English as a second language women in your Court, include newsletter articles translated into their native tongue.

Pray for those members who are absent from meetings and other Court activities.

Instead of mailing a donation to a charity your court supports, present it in person at one of their events. This provides an opportunity to explain what CDA is, and how the money was raised.

Have some events with the Knights of Columbus, and recruit their wives.

Support the State Habitat for Humanity Project physically, financially, spiritually. This is another way to demonstrate Christian ideals.

Encourage members to pursue dual-membership if they live away from home for an extended period of time.
